Marcia Beauchamp, MA

Prior to earning her Masters in Counseling from Liberty University in 2013, Marcia raised and homeschooled six children: three birth children and three adopted from foster care as older children. Marcia has served in many capacities in her church, as a leader in the homeschool community, and has hosted several short-term foreign exchange students. Marcia has four married children, four fabulous grandsons, and lives with her youngest daughter in a Civil War Era farmhouse that she has spent large quantities of time remodeling.

Marcia is experienced with foster and adopted youth and families, having worked almost two years at a private foster and adoption agency. She specializes in attachment and complex trauma problems that can result from illness, neglect, abuse, and abandonment. Marcia has certifications in Positive Parenting, Positive Discipline, and Parent Coaching, has received DDP training on trauma and attachment from Daniel Hughes, as well as Family-Centered training from Bryan Post.
