Our History

Family Concern Counseling started in 1986 as a branch of NW Indiana Youth for Christ. In June of 2005, Family Concern Counseling became an independent not-for-profit incorporated by the state of Indiana. FCC has grown to include a staff of over 20 counselors.

Family Concern Counseling is a group of professionals providing a wide range of counseling and clinical services. We assist adults, premarital and married couples, families, single parents, teens and children in all of life’s twists and turns. Family Concern Counseling, in addition, provides psychological assessments and behavior-management services. When things get difficult, you can count on the staff at FCC to show you another way, to teach you new skills and attitudes, and to bring new resources to you. For those times when peace seems hard to grasp or hope is just plain out of sight, you can find a counselor who will be there to guide you.
