Linden Niewenhuis, LMHCA
Linden received his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary and Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Regent University. Before earning his Masters, he served 6 years in the Air Force and deployed multiple times overseas. Linden lives in Valparaiso with his wife, Katie, and daughter, Everly. He enjoys reading, exercise, movies, nature, being with friends and family, and a good laugh.
Linden uses a relational approach to therapy and has found that when a trusting, positive, and warm connection emerges in the counseling relationship, beautiful transformation occurs. He also believes that many of life’s problems can be traced to deeper issues that are outside one’s awareness. When these deeper issues are understood, people may interact more effectively with themselves, others, and the world.
Linden works with teens, adults, and couples. He specializes in working with the following:

Depression
Addiction
Compulsive Sexual Behaviors
