KidWorks Social Skills Groups | Valparaiso
Kidworks offers 2 social skills groups geared toward ages 5-8 yrs and 9-12 yrs. They incorporate social activities, games, science, play, and crafts while building friendships along the way! Social skills and lesson plans are modified based on the needs of the children in the group. The cost is $72 a month for 4 sessions.
Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center | Highland
Fair Haven provides rape survivor emergency access to a professionally trained Sexual Assault Victim Advocate who will support you through the entire medical and legal proceedings, and healing process. Healing happens differently for each individual. They will direct you to a recovery plan best for you. Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center offers survivors: support groups for teens and adults individual supportive counseling, and professional trauma-based therapists.

This resource is a non-profit organization that offers free and confidential support groups for those who have been using self-injury to cope. They also offer a support groups to family and friends. Beyond the Baby Blues offers therapeutic support groups for women who are experiencing feelings of sadness, anxiety, isolation, or who are having difficulty adjusting to life with a new baby. Our Greater Good | Valparaiso
Our Greater Good offers mentoring programs for children and teens. This evidence-based, after-school group mentoring program is proven to transform the lives of teenagers, support them through their adolescence and prevent at-risk behavior. Groups match up to 12 kids with 3-4 caring and consistent adults. Groups meet weekly after school beginning in the child’s 6th grade year and continuing on through middle school, the transition to high school and on to graduation. At this time, due to COVID-19, groups are meeting virtually.

They offer the following services at no charge: Pregnancy testing, abortion consultation and information, ultrasound and limited STI testing. While most testing is free, some services may incur lab fees. Treatment for some diseases will beoffered without expense to the client, while referrals for other treatment may be necessary.
